Makes nice, neat little cubes

I can rough cut by hand or with my food processor. I wanted the little cubes which I don’t have the knife skills to do. This chopper was on sale, and if it doesn’t last forever, so be it. I just assumed that some preparation would be necessary. I didn’t see the picture of half an onion sitting in the device waiting to be chopped. Lol. I sliced my onion and chopped one slice at a time. Likewise for other things. The carrots were the hardest to do. I put all my chopped stuff in my freezer. When I want to cook something that needs to look nice, I just grab what I need. I am ridiculously pleased with my little stash of veggies.
So…depending on how you feel about using unconventional cleaning methods, I took my chopper out the back door and turned my hose to the thin, hard mode and sprayed all the debris out in about thirty seconds. Maybe not good for Minnesota in December, but I live in Sunny California.
