I forgot how I found these, but when I saw them, I had to get it. Can never have too many tools in the garage or kitchen. I’ve had them for a few months now and wondered why I didn’t get them earlier. They’re easy to fill up and easier to use. Just tilt and let it rip. Even though it’s motorized, it has a metered flow to it and so far I haven’t oversalted/peppered anything.
Battery life has been good; a few months later and still on the first set of a batteries. They start dispensing when tilted so I’ve seasoned my arm a couple of times while carrying them with my hands full. Also, they’re made of glass and metal so they have a quality feel to them. I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks like you could put most any type of dry seasoning in them.
